Boh nás stvoril a miluje nás. Ako sme sa to dozvedeli?

Boh poslal na zem svojho Syna Ježiša, aby nás o tom poučil.

Ježiš nás poučil, že Boh nás má rád ako dobrý otec, ktorý sa stará o svoje deti.

Svojich nasledovníkov Ježiš naučil svojich modliť sa.

My sme Ježišovi nasledovníci, ktorí tvoria Božiu rodinu – Cirkev.

Prosíme Boha o to, čo potrebujeme. Rozprávame sa s Bohom ako s otcom.

Ježiš nás poučil: „Keď sa modlíte, Boha nazývajte Otec.“

Ježiš nás naučil modlitbu, ktorá sa začína slovami „Otče náš“.

Ježiš je náš Pán. Preto túto modlitbu nazývame aj „Pánova modlitba“.

„Otče náš“ sa modlíme pri každej oficálnej bohoslužbe Cirkvi.

Vieš „Pánovu modlitbu“ naspamäť?

Boh chce, aby sme žili v jednote s Ním.

Jeden zo spôsobov, ako to môžeme, je modliť sa.

Raná Cirkev učila, že veriaci by sa mali modliť počas celého dňa, lebo nikdy neprestali žiť v Božom kráľovstve.

Raní kresťania sa spravidla raz alebo dvakrát denne zhromažďovali na spoločnú modlitbu, ale okrem toho sa za nevyhnutnú považovala aj osobná, súkromná modlitba – rozhovor každého veriaceho s Pánom.

Obvyklý čas na modlitbu bol aj vtedy ráno, pred začatím plnenia denných úloh, večer po ich dokončení a pred odchodom na nočný odpočinok.

Keď sa modlíme spoločne ako rodina, potvrdzujeme, že pre Bohom, ktorý vedie náš spoločný život, tvoríme jeden celok. Boh na oplátku posilňuje našu vieru a oddanosť a posilňuje našu jednotu, čo má za následok, že po nedorozumení v rodine sa môže ľahšie dospieť k skutočnému odpusteniu a zmiereniu.
